What you can expect during the initial consultation.

Although the initial visit and consultation is free, it is a critical component in hiring a pet sitter and in my ability to do my job properly. 

• The meeting allows you to decide if you are comfortable with me not only on a personal and professional level but also as a close companion to the pet(s).
• I must likewise be comfortable with you as well as the pet(s) for which I am taking responsibility.
• All details regarding your expectations and pet's needs are discussed and documented. 
• Every sitting assignment is unique, and at that time I will have an opportunity to ask questions which will allow me to take the best possible care of your pets.
• We will discuss the rate applicable for the service(s) you need.
• If the initial visit is more than two to three weeks prior to the first arranged sit, I may recommend additional visit(s) to allow the   pet(s) to reacquaint themselves and to re-establish a rapport with me.  This visit(s) would be at your convenience and at no cost to you.
• Feel free to ask any questions of me at the time of the initial consultation and at any time in the future.  I will do all that I can to ensure that you keep coming back to Southern Illinois Pet Sitters for your pet sitting needs.
